We then contact the patient directly by phone call or text to provide compound details, pricing information, and available pickup or shipping options. This ensures transparency and allows the patient to make an informed decision before preparation begins.

3

After payment is collected, our pharmacists compound the medication in accordance with USP guidelines and applicable regulations. Each preparation is made specifically for the individual patient pursuant to the prescription.

4

Once completed, the medication is either shipped directly to the patient or delivered to their selected Realo pickup location, depending on their preference.

Most compounded prescriptions are completed within 3–5 business days after payment is received. Hazardous or specialty preparations may require additional time, and our team confirms the expected timeline during intake. We also offer convenient statewide shipping, along with pickup options at participating Realo locations.

We are a traditional 503-A Compounding Pharmacy

All preparations at Realo Compounding Pharmacy are compounded pursuant to a patient-specific prescription in accordance with 503A regulations. We are licensed to produce both non-sterile and hazardous compounds and can prepare a wide range of customized formulations to support individualized patient care. While we offer limited in-office use options, we do not perform sterile compounding, including GLP-1 or other sterile injectable medications.

Insurance and billing

We receive frequent RX notations requesting insurance billing. Please note that we do not submit claims to third-party payers. We are a cash-pay pharmacy, though patients may request a universal claim form to independently pursue reimbursement.
